NOTE for 21 MAR 2020: I've started uploading some previous projects of mine to itch.io. I appreciate the space to do so!
BIO:
Games, I believe, are the best way to learn computer programming languages, but I am indeed biased because that's how I got introduced to programming myself! ;D
I was an avid player of games long before I became a creator of them. Some of my first games I played were the original Duke Nukem (DOS) and Jane of the Jungle (DOS). My favorites right now are an open source arena shooter named Red Eclipse, Mirror's Edge (and ME Catalyst too), Time Pilot (Arcade) and Eastshade (PC). A few of the games that I've continued to adore for the long haul are Secret of Mana (SNES), Oni (PC), and Knytt (PC).
I focus mainly on 2D and textual games. I've never had the patience for 3D modeling, and I am mostly a one-man-show when it comes to game development. I like recreating classics like Galaga and Pong but adding a twist, that's sometimes fun, but sometimes not.
Most recently, I'm experimenting with Interactive Fiction (IF) with Twine as it is high bandwidth for creativity with low need for both programming and art work.
I'm always open to collaboration!! I'm strong in programming, game design and writing. I can do 2D art, level design, simple tunes. I'm not much of a promoter, businessman, or 3D modeler. I have at most 5 hrs a week for game dev side work.
Cheers!
